Old Prickly

Old Prickly is bottle-conditioned, creating a gentle carbonation and natural sediment.

A pale easy-drinking full-flavoured ale with a sweet character and floral notes – not at all prickly!

From 2013 – 2020 Hobsons supported the British Hedgehog Preservation Society with annual donations based on Old Prickly sales, donating just shy of £50,000 in total!

Classic, refreshing, sessionable British pale ale with just enough floral hops to give the mildly malty palate a lightly bitter.

2018 CAMRA West Midlands Regional Champion Beer of Britain, Gold in Light Ales.

Food Match: Charming with cheese as well as a drink to wash down some Fish and Chips.

Local Maris Otter malting barley and Caramalt.
