Shropstar is bottle-conditioned, creating a gentle carbonation and natural sediment.

A beer that shines bright, a thirst-quenching crisp pale ale with a subtle floral aroma, packed with hop character without becoming overly bitter.

FACT… Shropstar was first brewed in 2019 as a Christmas special in cask and bottle, the beer proved very popular so it became a permanent part of the Hobsons family.

Shropstar is available in 500ml bottles.

Tasting Notes

A crisp pale ale with a subtle floral aroma, packed with hop character without being overly bitter. Very refreshing with its abundant citrus notes derived from the Mandarina hop.
