Staff Review

Town Crier is one of my favourites because it’s a very refreshing pint. Bitter enough with a crisp dry finish that leaves you wanting another sip! Known affectionately around the brewery as ‘loopy juice’, it really hits the spot. The perfect pint after a hard days graft.

Fact … In 1995 Cleobury Mortimer’s then town crier Reg Chapman’s wife and consort, Gill Chapman, won an award for the UK’s Best Consort, we thought what better way to celebrate than to brew a beer called “Town Crier”. 


Town Crier or “TC” as its fondly called at the bar is Hobsons best sellers and is available in 500ml bottles, 18 pint polypins, 4.5 gallon pins, 9 gallon casks, 18 gallon kilderkins and 30L easy casks.
