At Hobsons Brewery, we’ve always believed that pubs are more than just places to grab a pint—they’re the heart and soul of our communities. They’re where friendships flourish, celebrations happen, and stories are shared over a well-poured beer. That’s why we launched the "Have a Hobsons, Support Your Local" series: to champion the incredible publicans, teams, and venues who work tirelessly to keep these spaces alive.

Meeting the People Behind the Pints

Creating this series has been an absolute pleasure. From charming country pubs to thriving social clubs, we’ve had the privilege of meeting the hardworking people who make it all happen—the publicans and their teams who keep the doors open and the beer flowing, often against the odds.

Even during quieter periods like Dry January, we’ve seen just how much effort goes into keeping the pub trade alive. It’s been inspiring to hear the stories of resilience, dedication, and creativity that drive these venues forward.

Why We’re Keeping It Going

The response to the series has been overwhelmingly positive, reminding us how vital it is to shine a spotlight on the venues and people who keep pub culture alive. That’s why we’re committed to continuing this journey—bringing you more stories, more videos, and even more reasons to visit your local pub, club, or venue that stocks Hobsons beer.
