My favourite Hobsons cask ale is Champion Mild. As a brewer I find it fascinating and amazing how much flavour you can pack into a 3.2% beer; not only that but as it's not too strong you can drink plenty of it and still operate the next day!

A Champion British Mild with a smooth character packed full of flavour and aromas of roast caramel, coffee and chocolate. It’s only 3.2% abv. too!

FACT … In 2007 only five years after we first brewed Mild, the beer was selected for a national competition and only went on to win! Hobsons Mild was crowned CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain, the most prestigious award a brewer dream off!

Champion Mild is available in 18 pint polyins, 4.5 gallon pins and 9 gallon casks.

Tasting Notes

A classic mild with complex layers of taste which comes from roasted malts that predominate and give lots of flavour.

Ingredients + Allergens

Local Maris Otter malting barley, Caramalt, Pale Chocolate malt and Dark Crystal malt.

Goldings and Fuggles British hop varieties.
