Presenting this season’s Postman’s Plum Porter

In the true spirit of keeping things local, Postman’s Plum Porter is brewed with Shropshire Prune Damsons, grown just 2 miles from Hobsons. Based on our Postman’s Knock brew, this porter delivers on provenance and intense flavour.

This year’s Plum Porter is available in 500ml bottles and 9 gallon casks.

Plum Porter boasts strong aromas of berries, sweet, juicy plums and roast malt
sweetness. The dark mahogany porter has rich, treacly, roasted malt taste with a smooth chocolatey finish. Fruit with a touch of spice for the perfect festive brew.

Food Match:  Perfect with a festive treat such as a mince pie or a big slice of Christmas cake.

Local Maris Otter malting barley, pale chocolate malt, wheat malt, dark crystal malt. 

Goldings and Fuggles hop varieties.
